Not only is studying onsite beneficial for students learning experience but St Mark’s is located in the heart of the nation, just 1 kilometre away from federal parliament house in Canberra.
St Mark’s National Theological College wants to see more students study Charles Sturt University's theology courses on campus in 2015.
It strategic location reflects St Mark’s mission to engage the people of God with Australian Society.
St Mark’s doesn’t have on campus accommodation options available but has facilitated the following accommodation options for students to investigate and take up.
New accommodation options available
Burgmann College at the Australian National University in Acton is offering five accommodation spots exclusively for students studying theology through Charles Sturt University in Canberra in 2015.
The college is named after the former Anglican Bishop of Canberra and Goulburn Ernest Henry Burgmann. Burgman College Community is a university residence for 350 students. It is bus ride from Burgmann College to St Mark’s.
Burgmann College offers undergraduate and postgraduate places. Undergraduate are fully-catered and post-graduate are self-catered. Prices start at $370 a week for a single room for undergraduates and $240 a week for post-graduate students. There are also initial fees students will have to pay.

Students will need to provide Burgmann College with evidence they have an offer from CSU to study theology on Campus in Canberra before their place is formally secured.
All Saints College
All Saints Anglican Church at Ainslie are building All Saints College, a suite of 26 discrete living units for fulltime students. Located next to the Anglican Christian community at Ainslie, it’s also a bus ride from All Saints to St Mark’s Barton site.
It will be ideal for people studying at St Mark’s.
A room at All Saints will be priced at competitive rates (because of a government grant assisting people on low incomes). You’ll qualify for accommodation if your income falls below $47k during the year prior to entry. Rooms are provisionally priced at $224 per week, with an additional $30 for utilities and $10 for IT. (These figures may change slightly.)
